Over the last 65 years Anker-Holth™ uniquely-designed, dependable, internally-guided Caster Cylinders have been used in cast houses for aluminum, copper, magnesium and other non-ferrous metals casting throughout the world. Anker-Holth™ cylinders are either single- or double-acting. Low friction seals combined with extra-long bearing lengths in single-acting, internally-guided cylinders cast smooth and trouble-free billets, ingots and special shapes with no vibration or shatter.

Anker-Holth™ cylinders are designed to extremely close dimensional tolerances. These tight tolerances prevent excessive deflection to ensure the cast produces straight billets and slabs. The internal guide prevents the platen from rotating more than four minutes, providing excellent results along the full length of the cast. The seal design along with the custom-fitted components extends the life of the cylinder by two to three times that of cheaper competitors.
